Nick Nardone was a standout in both baseball and football. A four-year starter at shortstop for the baseball team, he was named first team All-PAC in both 1978 and 1979 and graduated with a career batting average of .334. A placekicker and flanker in football, Nardone ended his career with most of Allegheny's kicking records including field goals in a game, a season and career.
