The Allegheny College Athletic Communications Office is here to meet the needs of media and opposing sports information personnel, as well as Allegheny parents, students, alumni, and fans. The office carries out the daily maintenance of the official Allegheny athletics website, and provides live coverage of home sporting events. Members of the athletic communications office coordinate photography and video, provide in-game statistics, write game releases and special features, design and produce athletic publications, promote the Gators through various social media outlets, and assist the media in its coverage of Allegheny athletics.

GUIDELINES
Media Credentials - All credential requests should be forwarded to assistant athletic director for communications and media relations Sean King (contact info above). Credentials are limited to professionals working in the print, broadcast, or electronic media, and their issuance is at the discretion of the sports information director. Please make requests for credentials at least two days in advance of game day.
Visiting Radio - Please contact Allegheny Athletic Communications at least two days in advance of the game which you would like to broadcast. In most venues, phone lines and wireless access are available at no charge.
Player/Coach Interviews - All media interview requests must be made through Allegheny Athletic Communications office. Please be advised that student-athletes will not be asked to miss classes or practices for any reason. If you are requesting interviews after athletics contests, the NCAA mandates a 10-minute 'cooling off period' after events. Interviews can be conducted with the assistance of Allegheny Athletic Communications after the cooling off period has expired. Interviews may be held on the field, court or in the press box. Interviews may not be conducted in the locker rooms.
Photography - Photography is permitted at all Allegheny athletics events. Photographers shooting from the playing field level must make the Athletic Communications office aware of their work and must follow all NCAA guidelines concerning in-game athletics photography. Please be advised that photographers assume all risk if entering the playing area of an athletics event.
Image Requests - If you would like to obtain an image seen on the Allegheny athletics web site or social media outlets, please contact Allegheny Athletic Communications for arrangements. Many of the athletics images taken at home events can be viewed and downloaded free of charge in Allegheny's online photo gallery.
GATORS - When referencing Allegheny athletics teams, please refer to all teams as the Gators. It is unacceptable to use 'Lady Gators' for female teams.
LIVE STATS
Live statistics will be provided by Allegheny Athletic Communications for most home games, when possible. Opposing sports information offices looking for Allegheny StatCrew rosters, should contact a member of the athletic communications office (see contact info above). Most live stat productions of home Allegheny events can be viewed on the team's schedule. A complete list of links for live coverage can be found on the schedule pages of each team on the Allegheny athletics website.
LIVE VIDEO/AUDIO
The Allegheny Athletic Communications Office provides live video and/or audio services to many of its varsity programs when weather and scheduling conflicts do not arise. Visit each team's respective schedule to view individual games that will have broadcasts. AÂ
composite schedule of live coverage is also available on the athletics home page. Additionally, video and audio services can be found in the
Allegheny Portal.  All video and audio broadcasts are run by the athletic communications staff with help from student assistants.
Â
SOCIAL MEDIA
Fans, media, parents, students, and fellow student-athletes can engage and interact with the Allegheny athletics department while following all of its athletic programs through a myriad of social media outlets. Allegheny athletics has created an official
Twitter handle,
Instagram account, and
YouTube page so all can keep up to date with all of the College's happenings. You can also follow those specific teams that have their own accounts. Access those and all of Allegheny's social media outlets through the
