Travis Larner

Travis Larner was appointed Allegheny College's Director of Athletics Communications and Marketing on August 23, 2022.

An Ontario, New York, native, Larner joined the Gators after spending the spring 2022 semester at his alma mater, St. John Fisher University. As the primary contact for the Cardinals' track and field programs, he was responsible for covering and promoting one of the nation's best field athletes, Kyle Rollins, who captured his third consecutive outdoor high jump national title at the 2022 NCAA Division III Championships. He also helped the women's lacrosse team earn national spotlight with the No. 2 play on the April 29 edition of SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays, in addition to working with Fisher's nationally-ranked men's lacrosse program.

Also within the Empire 8 Conference, Larner spent six years in the sports information office at Elmira College. After five years in an assistant role, he was elevated to Director of Sports Information during the 2020-21 academic year. With the Soaring Eagles, he earned Elmira's Paul Brand Athletics Staff Award in 2017-18 and won a district award for best athlete feature in the 2020 Fred Stabley, Sr. Writing Contest. Larner successfully nominated three Academic All-Americans, the College's first in nearly two decades, helped launch EC's new athletics branding, and served as one of the primary photographers for the athletics department.

In addition to his experience in collegiate athletics, Larner has spent time with numerous professional organizations, including the Baltimore Orioles, the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks, and the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He has also spent several years assisting the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) by helping to train official scorers, overseeing the league's statistics, and organizing end-of-year award ballots.

Larner graduated from St. John Fisher in December of 2013 with a degree in sports management. He received his master's in general management from Elmira in June of 2020.
