Wise Sport & Fitness Center. This page explains our services, programs and policies, with the hope that it will make your visit a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.

Guest Services
The Office of Student Disability Services (SDS) and Athletic Department at Allegheny College are dedicated to ensuring nondiscrimination and equal access to all programs, services, and activities for qualified students with disabilities. Students, faculty, staff and community members with disabilities have access and opportunities to engage in the full range of experiences available to all at Allegheny including curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
The Director of Disability Services is committed to working with students, staff, faculty and community members in developing and implementing the most appropriate strategies for a successful experience while maintaining the academic standards and integrity of the mission of the College. Understanding that an informed college community is better able to address the multiple issues related to disabilities, the Director strives to keep all constituencies abreast of the most up-to-date information regarding related laws and regulations and the means to achieve compliance and beyond. The Director of Disability Services works hand in hand with the Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation Services to make sure any and all concerns are addressed to make sure all members of the community have proper access to both the Wise Sport & Fitness Center and Robertson Sports Complex.
Elevators
There is one public elevator available at the Wise Sport & Fitness Center, which provides access to all floors, including Athletic Offices, the fitness center, concourse overlooking the Performance Court and floor level of the Performance Court.Â
Ramps
Code compliant public ramps are available at both the Wise Sport & Fitness Center, and Robertson Sports Complex. These ramps are located at all entrances. The Wise Sport & Fitness Center entrances include a wheelchair accessible automatic door opener.
Restrooms and Locker Rooms
All public restrooms are accessible to patrons with disabilities. There is also a family restroom located on the fourth floor of the Wise Sport & Fitness Center. Both the men’s and women’s locker room in the Wise Sport & Fitness Center have seated shower spaces.
Concession Stands
Every concession stand and bar is accessible to patrons with disabilities. If assistance is required at any of the food service areas, please alert the nearest Event Staff Worker.
Mellon Pool
The Mellon Pool contains a lift for those requiring assistance. Please let a lifeguard know if necessary.
Parking
Handicap accessible parking is located at both Wise Sport & Fitness Center and Robertson Sports Complex.
Service Animals
If a patron plans on bringing a service animal into the stadium, we encourage them to contact us as early as if they would like to request a specific seating location. Please contact Bill Ross at wross@allegheny.edu.
Wheelchair & Companion Seating
The Wise Sport & Fitness Center provides wheelchair and companion seating with enhanced sight lines on both the concourse and floor level of the Performance Court. If wheelchair & companion seating are required at Frank B. Fuhrer Field, please reach out in advance so an Event Staff Worker can be prepared to assist.
