The Outing Club is committed to providing, safe, educational, and challenging adventures to all members of the Allegheny College community regardless of experience or skill level. Through a core group of leaders, we are committed to sharing our enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors by teaching the skill required to safely and respectfully explore the delicate wonders of nature.

Conditions of Rental

The Outing Club's equipment is free to rent by all Allegheny students and staff throughout the fall and spring Semesters. To request gear, make an appointment with the Gear Manager through our website, or by sending an email to Outing Club or the Gear Manager. 

All requests for equipment need to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the rental appointment to guarantee availability.  Additionally, any gear required for an upcoming Outing Club activity takes priority.
