Allegheny College Athletics

Eric Templin was an NCAA Division III All-American in Wrestling in 1979 after finishing fourth in the nation in the heavyweight class.  He was Presidents’ Athletic Conference champion and as a senior went 23-2 with 14 pins and was scored upon just once in regular season bouts.  He placed seventh at the 1977 NCAA Division III national championship.  He was second at the PAC championship in both 1977 and 1978 and took third in 1976.  Templin compiled a 1603 record as a junior.  He was a four-year letter-winner and captained the Gators his junior and senior seasons.
