Allegheny College Athletics

Joe Valentino was a dominating lineman for the Gator football teams of the early 1960s. In 1961 he helped the Gators to their first-ever PAC title, earning All-PAC honors in the process. Valentino served as co-captain for his senior year of 1962 and received the William Bentley Award, given to the student making the most outstanding contribution to the advancement of Allegheny College society.
