Mike Gasper is part of a long line of outstanding student-athletes who have helped distinguish Allegheny as one the most decorated golf programs in NCAA Division III history.
Arriving as a rookie in 1996, Gasper led the Gators to the first of four consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference championships while earning First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors in the process.
The Gators qualified for the NCAA Championships all four years during Gasper’s tenure, including a fourth-place national finish in 1997 and a third-place effort at NCAA’s in 1998.
Although Allegheny boasts a rich history on the links, Gasper is one of only three players to garner All-Region honors all four years. He powered to medalist honors at the 1996 NCAC Championships and was a three-time tournament champion.
Behind a slew of top-10 finishes, Gasper earned All-America honors after the 1997 and 1998 seasons.
Currently, Gasper is employed as a senior sales engineers at the Eaton Corporation, where he has devoted his professional time since 2000. In 2002, he married his wife, Erin, and the couple have two daughters, Emma (6) and Olivia (4).
Gasper still plays golf, both for work and recreationally on the weekends. The thing he has enjoyed most is watching his family grow, while spending time and learning from them each day.
