Jodi Robinson left her mark on the mound with the softball team from 1992-95. During her career, Allegheny made three NCAA Tournament appearances and two trips to the World Series. Robinson is one of just three Allegheny pitchers to throw multiple no-hitters. She was a two-time First-Team All-Region choice and a Third-Team All-American as a junior. Her name remains in the record books in 11 categories, including fourth in shutouts (14) and fifth in strikeouts (288).
As a sophomore, she led Allegheny to the NCAA World Series with a 1.68 earned-run average (ERA) in 87 2/3 innings pitched. She earned four shutouts en route to an opponent batting average of .175. On May 4, 1993, Robinson threw her first collegiate no-hitter in a 17-0 win over Hiram.
In 1994, she collected 15 wins in 20 appearances, while striking out 99 and throwing a 1.71 ERA. Against Division II Mercyhurst, she picked up her second no-hitter in an 8-0 win on April 26. That season, the Gators went 34-6 and advanced to the NCAA
Tournament while Robinson earned All-Region and All-American honors. As a senior, she was named All-Region, pitching a 1.65 ERA and throwing 15 complete games in 21 starts.
Not only was Robinson a threat on the mound, but also at the plate. Over her career, she cranked out 120 hits including 19 doubles, three triples and four home runs. She scored 65 runs and recorded 55 RBIs. On the mound, Robinson posted a 43-20 record to tie for fifth in the record book for career wins.
