TRAFFORD, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) recognized Allegheny College junior Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) following her record-setting effort on Saturday at John Carroll University.

Inkley was named the PAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week after breaking the school record for the indoor pole vault. She successfully cleared 3.65 meters on her third and final attempt, which was 30 centimeters higher than her indoor PR and 15 centimeters better than the previous record of 3.50 meters, set by Sarah Sammel '08 in 2006. Her mark was an All-Atlantic Region Track and Field (AARTFC) qualifier, is the second-best in the PAC this season, and ranks 11th in the country.

The women's indoor track and field schedule continues on Saturday, January 24, when the Gators travel to Ohio Wesleyan University for the OWU Team Challenge.
