PAC Names Ellenberger Women's Field Athlete of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa. -- Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) opened the 2026 outdoor track and field season by collecting Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

In her outdoor debut two weeks after earning All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Ellenberger finished second in the long jump and third in the triple jump at West Liberty University's Tim Weaver Memorial Invitational. In both events, she was the top Division III jumper, trailing only athletes from D-II programs.

Ellenberger finished in the long jump with an outdoor personal record of 5.62 meters. In the triple jump, her second attempt measured 10.60 meters, just one centimeter behind the runner-up from West Liberty.

The Allegheny women's track and field team will travel to Slippery Rock University for its next meet, the Dave Labor Invitational, on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4.
