NEW ORLEANS -- The Allegheny College track and field program earned a trio of All-Great Lakes Region awards for the 2025-26 indoor season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
To qualify for All-Region honors, an athlete must rank among the top eight in their event in the region. Representing the Gators in the Great Lakes Region were juniors
Grant Miller (Punxsutawney, Pa.) and
Corinne Inkley (Randolph, N.Y./Randolph Central) in the pole vault and sophomore
Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) in the long jump.
Miller was the eighth-ranked men's pole vaulter in the Great Lakes. His top mark from his junior year came at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championships at Youngstown State University, where he placed second in the conference with a personal record of 4.60 meters.
On the women's side, Inkley was tied for fourth in the region in the pole vault at 3.65 meters. She achieved that height at the John Carroll University Alumni Meet in January, setting a new PR while breaking a 20-year-old indoor team record.
Allegheny's national championship qualifier, Ellenberger, logged the second-best long jump in the Great Lakes this winter. Her winning mark at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships was 5.90 meters and set a new program record. Ellenberger trailed only Chloe Hein from Centre College, who ranks No. 1 nationally with a 6.46-meter jump.
