MEADVILLE, Pa. – A pair of Allegheny tennis student-athletes earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams for their performances on the court and in the classroom during the 2024-25 season.
 
Javier Bejarano Jimenez (El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain/IES Padre Luis Coloma) of the men's team and Maria Lounder (Pittsburgh, Pa./Moon Area) of the women's team earned the honors. 
 
For Lounder, this marks her second time earning the accolade.
 
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and be in the lineup for 70% of the team's dual matches.
 
Academic All-District winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
