MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A trio of throwers from the Allegheny College men's and women's track and field teams found success at Robert Morris University's Benson/Hodge Memorial Invitational on Friday.
Senior discus specialistÂ
Hamilton Kraemer (North East, Pa./North East) earned his first collegiate victory at the Benson/Hodge Memorial Invitational. Kraemer beat 14 other competitors, including several Division I and II throwers, with a mark of 39.55 meters on his first attempt. It's the third-best distance of the season for Kraemer and his best individual finish since taking third at Oberlin College's Bob Kahn Invitational in 2023.

Matt Reynolds (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) competed 24 hours after participating in Slippery Rock University's John Papa Invitational on Thursday. Reynolds posted his best shot put of the season at 11.42 meters, good enough for seventh place. He also finished 14th in the discus at 27.38 meters.

Elizabeth Lubold (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) was the runner-up in the javelin. Her best throw was her third of six tries, which measured 38.76 meters. It was the second-best mark and the second runner-up effort of the season for the junior.
