LEWISBURG, Pa. – Several members of the Allegheny women's track and field team competed at the Bucknell Bison Classic Saturday and Sunday (April 12-13).
 
Chloe Bonson (Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford) registered the top performance. In the 5,000 meter run, Bonson placed 10th out of 106 runners with a time of 16:43.76. That time is a personal best for the junior and is one of the top 10 times in Division III this season. Nelly Stafford (Middletown, Md./Middletown) also ran the 5k, finishing 57th with a personal best time of 17:27.20.
 
Logan Wagner (Woodville, Ohio/Oak Harbor) ran in the 200 and 400 meter dashes. She placed 92nd in the 200 with a time of 26.91 and 85th in the 400 with a time of 1:01.76.
 
Marrin Crist (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) was 44th in the steeplechase with a time of 11:38.48 while Celia Cocca (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) placed 55th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.90.
 
Laila Davis (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton), Angelee Bawek (Goodyear, Ariz./Estrella Foothills) and Elizabeth Lubold (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) represented the Gators in the throwing events.
 
In the hammer, Davis finished 14th with a season best toss of 49.82 meters. It is a top-35 throw in Division III this season.
 
Bawek and Lubold competed in the javelin. Bawek was 14th with a throw of 39.30 meters, just .01 off her personal best. Lubold was not far behind in 15th with a season best throw of 39.05 meters. Each of those distances are in the top thirty of Division III.
