NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Allegheny men's track and field team continued their outdoor season at the Westminster Invitational April 11-12.
 
Cole Jooste (Upper Saint Clair, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) carded the best finish for the Gators. The junior won the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:06.73, besting the rest of the 56 runner field.
 
Jonah Wells (Wyndmoor, Pa./Springfield Township) also had one of the top finishes as he was third in the javelin with a toss of 49.64 meters.
 
Caleb Freeman (Killingworth, Conn./Haddam-Killingworth) was fifth in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:44.72 while Zack Wyse (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) was sixth in the 800 with a time of 2:00.19.

Cherrieke Bufis (Rochester, N.Y./Vertus Charter) as seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 12.57 meters. Grant Miller (Punxsutawney, Pa./Punxsutawney Area) and Jordan Anderson (Attica, N.Y./Attica) rounded out the Gators' top-eight performers as they finished eighth in the pole vault and 400 meter hurdles, respectively.
