LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Allegheny women's cross country team concluded their 2025 campaign at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday (Nov. 15), held in Louisville, Ky. at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
The women finished the 37 team, 260 runner 6k event in 25th place with 696 points. Trine won the overall team title with a score of 58 points while Calvin's Sophie Bull was the individual champion with a time of 21:40.9.
Shyann Rulander (Warren, Pa./Warren) led the Gators with a 95th-place finish, crossing the finish line with a time of 24:15.1.
Gabriella Palmer (Ligonier, Pa./Ligonier Valley) was second on the team with a time of 24:58.2, taking 127th.
Samantha Oakes (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) was not too far behind Palmer, finishing 144th with a time of 25:15.5.
Lilly Larkin (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) was the fourth Gator across the finish line, taking 169th with a time of 25:48.8.
Anne Weis (Granville, Ohio/Granville) rounded out the Gator top-five in 179th, crossing the finish line with a time of 26:03.8.
Sophia Shiroff (Denver, Colo./Denver East) also competed, finishing with a time of 26:33.6 to take 201st.
