MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Allegheny College men's golf and men's lacrosse teams combined to place six Gators on the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team.

Carter Hassenplug (North East, Pa./North East), as well as men's lacrosse players
Cassady Bouthet (Vernon, Conn./Rockville) and
Nick Gralewski (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) were each recognized for the second consecutive year. They were joined by lacrosse athletes
JP Rakis (Kensington, Md./Walter Johnson),
Garrett Danielson (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering-Fairmont), and
Konrad Homiak (Hampstead, N.C./Topsail).Â
The 2023-24 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and the classroom. The men's at-large category includes student-athletes from fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Lacrosse athletes must have played in at least 90% or started in 66% of the team's competitions throughout the season. Golf nominees must have competed in 70% of the team's scored varsity events.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Men's At-Large Academic All-America First-, Second-, and Third-Team honorees will be announced on Wednesday, July 17.
