WOOSTER, Ohio – The Allegheny women's cross country team participated in the Wooster Twilight 5k Challenge at John Papp Stadium Friday night (Nov. 8).
 
Samantha Oakes (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) had the top finish for the Gators, clocking in at 19:35.4 to take ninth. 
 
Sophia Shiroff (Denver, Colo./Denver East) was not far off of Oakes' pace, placing 11th with a time of 19:41.4.
 
Ollie Schneider (Baden, Pa./Ambridge) had the third best time on the team, taking 20th with a time of 20:51.2.
 
Anne Weis (Granville, Ohio/Granville) rounded out the Allegheny runners, taking 25th with a time of 22:14.1.
 
Cleveland State's Ana Crangle won the event with a time of 17:17.8.
