MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's track and field team competed in their home Marty Goldberg Gator Invitational Thursday (May 11).
 
Sean Heintzleman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Winchester Thurston) won the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:09.26. Cole Jooste (Upper Saint Clair, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) was just behind in second with a time of 4:11.05 while Zack Wyse (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) took third with a time of 4:12.92.
 
Peter Lantz (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) captured first in the 5,000 meter run, clocking in at 15:46.18. Caleb Freeman (Killingworth, Conn./Haddam-Killingworth) was not too far behind, placing second with a time of 16:18.47.
 
Colm Mulligan (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brookline) placed fourth in the 800 with a time of 1:59.97.
 
Jacob Boord (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) won the javelin with a toss of 61.80 meters, taking the event by over 10 meters.
 
Stephen Cullinan (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) had a fifth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing a season-best 4.23 meters.
 
Jacob King (Latrobe, Pa./Greater Latrobe) placed sixth in the hammer with a season-best throw of 47.80 meters. Hamilton Kraemer (North East, Pa./North East) finished seventh in the discus with a heave of 41.93 meters.
