LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Jacob Boord (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) highlighted a quintet of Allegheny College men's track and field student-athletes who competed in Bucknell University's Bison Outdoor Classic with another record-breaking effort.
For the second time as a junior, Boord rewrote Allegheny's top distance in the javelin throw. On his sixth and final attempt on Saturday, he hurled the javelin 64.71 meters. His fifth try would have also set a new record, as it traveled 64.24 meters. Boord, who placed fourth overall, ended the weekend ranked fourth nationally in Division III.

Stephen Cullinan (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) was close to a program record of his own. He placed sixth in the orange decathlon with 6,122 points, the second-most in school history. Cullinan joins Allegheny Hall of Famer Jim Mormino '98 as the only two Gators to surpass 6,000 points in the event.
