MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny College women's soccer team had six student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for their performances on and off the field of play in the fall.
The six Gators who earned the honor were
Elle Carpenter (Waco, Texas/Midway),
Beatrice Foley (Toronto, Ont./Humberside Collegiate),
Hallie Johnson (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy),
Taylor McKindley (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic),
Emma Milligan (Parkesburg, Pa./Octorra) and
Julieta Schworm (Newark, Ohio/Licking Valley).
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and have played in at least 90 percent or started in 66 percent of the team's competitions throughout the season.
Academic All-District winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in December.
