Gators Score Six Goals in Win at Thiel

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny women's soccer team secured a spot in the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament as they picked up a 6-0 road win at Thiel Saturday (Oct. 23).
 
The Gators scored four times over the opening 45 minutes of play. The first goal came in the 10th minute. After a takeaway, Katherine Surdykowski (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington County Regional) scored on a low shot from about 20 yards out for the tally. The second goal came in the 28th minute. Angela Campbell (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) got the ball and passed it towards the middle of the box to Camryn Kunz (New Kensington, Pa./Kiski Area). Kunz scored the goal on a shot inside the near post. The next two goals came in quick succession. After assisting on the second goal, Campbell found the back of the net in the 35th minute. Just thirty seconds later, Olivia Wilson (Mars, Pa./Mars) scored on a close ranged shot as the Gators took a 4-0 lead into halftime.
 
The lead grew to 5-0 in the 51st minute. Savannah Wilde (Lancaster, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) crossed the ball from the far side in front of the net. Casey Bender (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) got to the cross and put a quick foot on the ball for the fifth goal. In the 56th minute, Wilde tallied her second assist of the game as Karley Johnson (Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville Community) scored the game's final goal.
