MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Allegheny College's 11th-year head softball coach,
Beth Curtiss, has released the Gators' schedule for the upcoming 2023 season, their first in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
The 40-game slate, which begins in Florida on March 4, features seven home doubleheaders and 20 PAC contests.

The Gators will travel to Florida for THE Spring Games, which begin on March 4 and conclude on March 10, to open the year. In Florida, the Gators will play a dozen games against teams from all over Division III, including a pair of games against Pennsylvania schools in Pitt-Greensburg (3/5) and Carnegie Mellon University (3/10).
Allegheny will play its first PAC doubleheader on the road when the Gators travel to Bethany College on Saturday, March 25. The team will host its first PAC doubleheader on Wednesday, March 29, at 3:30 p.m. against Geneva College. That doubleheader kicks off three straight home dates, as the Gators will also face conference foe Westminster College (4/1) and non-conference opponent Kenyon College (4/2) during that stretch.
The Gators conclude the home portion of their schedule with four straight doubleheaders from April 11-19. The team welcomes PAC opponent Franciscan University on April 11 before facing Pitt-Bradford the following day. The home schedule then concludes with PAC contests against Grove City College on April 15 and Saint Vincent College on April 19.
The 2023 regular season concludes with three road doubleheaders at Washington and Jefferson College (4/22), Waynesburg University (4/25), and Hilbert College (4/27).
The PAC Championships are set for May 2-6 and will feature the top six seeds.
