PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. – Three members of the 2026 Allegheny softball team earned All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) honors for their performances during the season.
Jayla Jones (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) highlighted the trio with a Second Team selection.
Samantha Phillips (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) and
Abby Robinson (Mars, Pa./Mars Area) were named to the Honorable Mention Team.
In her first year as a Gator, Jones batted .355 with a team-high 19 RBI. Of her team-high 38 hits, six were doubles. Jones had at least two hits in a dozen games, with three-hit performances against John Jay, Waynesburg and Franciscan. The three-hit game against Franciscan also saw her season-high with three RBI. Additionally, Jones had a slugging percentage of .411 and earned PAC Newcomer of the Week Honors.
Robinson also earned All-PAC honors in her first season, hitting .339 with 37 hits, 29 runs scored, 11 RBI, 11 walks drawn and seven doubles. She had 11 multi-hit games, including a three-hit performance against Waynesburg. Robinson also drove in a season-high three runs at Pitt-Bradford, and led the team with nine stolen bases.
Phillips ends her Allegheny career with her fourth All-PAC honor. In her senior season, Phillips with. 318 with 34 hits, 16 runs and 14 RBI. She produced three hits in games against Waynesburg, Franciscan and Hiram. Phillips also homered against Thiel. She ends her time as a Gator with a career batting average of .376, starting in all 143 games over four years and producing 171 hits, 94 runs and 75 RBI.

Morgan Kinney (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) was named to the All-PAC Sportsmanship Team. The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior, and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams and student-athletes.
