CLEVELAND, Ohio—Sophomore Amanda Ress Liere of the Allegheny women's tennis team was selected to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Honorable Mention Team for her performances throughout the 2017-18 season.
 
This marks the second time Ress Liere has received All-NCAC honors, as she was selected to the Honorable Mention Team last year for doubles.
 
Ress Liere played both the first and second single flights during the year.  In the fall, Ress Liere picked up wins at second singles against Westminster College, Franciscan University and Thiel College.  During that time, she also went 6-3 at first doubles, picking up four dual wins and a pair of tournament wins.
 
On the Gators' spring break trip, Ress Liere collected a pair of wins at first doubles and a win at first singles.
 
For her career, Ress Liere has 16 wins at singles and 15 wins at doubles.
 
The conference also announced its annual award winners.  Kenyon College's Diana Aboubakare and Erika Oku were named Player and Newcomer of the Year, respectively, while Scott Thiekle was named Coach of the Year.  Denison University's Emma Alsup and Lauren Hawley were named the Doubles Team of the Year.
