NFHCA National Academic Squad Release
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Allegheny field hockey team brought home several academic awards through the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for their performance in the classroom during the 2025 season.
A pair of Gators earned Scholars of Distinction honors. This honor is given to student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester.
Samantha Mura (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) and
Caroline Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty) earned the honor
Twelve members of the team earned a spot on the National Academic Squad. This honor is given to student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester.

Rowan O'Toole (Glen Burnie, Md./Archbishop Spalding),
Emily Robles (Burlington Township, N.J./Burlington Township),
Abby Robords (Fairport, N.Y./Penfield) and Smith garnered the accolade.
