Complete Results

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio --
Allegheny College went head-to-head against the current and former Blue Streaks on Saturday at John Carroll University's Alumni Meet in the first competition of 2026.

Thirteen Gators participated in nine different events, headlined by a first-place performance from junior Grant Miller (Punxsutawney, Pa./Punxsutawney Area) and the 4x200-meter relay team. Allegheny also earned a pair of runner-up finishes.

Miller defeated two Blue Streaks in the pole vault. He passed on every height up to 4.25 meters, which he achieved on his second attempt. JCU's Justin Krile, the runner-up, cleared 4.10 meters on his second try, but failed all three jumps at 4.25 meters.

In the 4x200, Austin Stewart (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic), Sha'Mar Nguyen (Converse, Texas/Judson), Otis Thomas (Solon, Ohio/Solon), and Dre'on Johnson (Buffalo, N.Y./South Park) joined together to beat two groups of John Carroll alumni. The Allegheny quartet finished the relay in 1:33.78, more than four seconds ahead of the second-place team.

Sophomores Cozmo Gallegos (Chino, Calif./Chino) and Andre Anderson (Chapel Hill, N.C./East Chapel Hill) posted a pair of silver medal performances in the triple jump and weight throw, respectively. Gallegos recorded the second-best triple jump of his career at 11.88 meters. Likewise, Anderson had his second-best weight throw at 14.69 meters.
