TRAFFORD, Pa. – Alex Augustine (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) of the Allegheny women's soccer team was honored as the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week for her performances in a pair of games last week.
 
The Gators played Baldwin Wallace and Marietta to identical 1-1 draws last week. On the road against Baldwin Wallace, Augustine made five saves. At home against Marietta, she finished with eight saves, including one in the final minute to preserve the tie.

For the year, Augustine has made 32 saves.
 
Allegheny is back in action Wednesday (Sept. 10) at Penn State Behrend.
