BEREA, Ohio – The Allegheny women's soccer team continued nonconference play at Baldwin Wallace Wednesday (Sept. 3), playing the Yellow Jackets to a 1-1 draw.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the opening half. Gator goalkeeper
Alex Augustine (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) made four saves in the 45 minute span.
The Yellow Jackets struck first in the second half. Their goal came in the 54th minute, unassisted.
Allegheny was able to provide a response to the Baldwin Wallace goal 15 minutes later.
Savannah Wilde (Lancaster, Ohio/Bloom-Carroll) found the back for the equalizer. The goal was the first tally in her first collegiate season.
