GCAA Release

NORMAN, Okla. – The Allegheny men's golf team was recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and PLATFORM Golf as an All-Academic Team for their performance in the classroom during the latest academic award.
 
To earn the honor, the team must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Allegheny was one of a record 292 schools across six divisions to earn a PLATFORM Golf Academic Award. Previously this offseason, rising junior Connor Bell (Montrose, Colo./Montrose) and recent graduates Carter Hassenplug (North East, Pa./North East) and Zachary Melzar (Sterling, Mass./Wachusett Regional) represented the Gators as individual GCAA All-America Scholars.
