PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. -- Allegheny College's Christopher Hoffman (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) was tabbed the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Golf Player of the Week.

Hoffman, already a two-time PAC Newcomer of the Week, earned another award after his victory at the Pennsylvania Classic.

The first-year standout earned medalist honors over 119 competitors in a loaded field that included the best teams from around the commonwealth. Hoffman was the only athlete with a cumulative score below par with a 3-under 141 after carding a 71 (-1) on Saturday and 70 (-2) on Sunday. He recorded nine birdies, including birdies on both days on the first, 13th, and 18th holes.

The Allegheny men's golf team will return to action on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, at The Spring Thaw at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania.
