TRAFFORD, Pa. – Dylan Kochis (Saint Augustine, Fla./B. Reed Henderson (Pa.)) and Christopher Hoffman (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) of the Allegheny men's golf team swept the weekly Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) awards.
 
Kochis was named Player of the Week while Hoffman was named Newcomer of the Week.
 
The duo helped the Gators finish second at The Spring Thaw, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
 
Kochis finished fourth overall, scoring an even 144. After shooting a 74 in round one, Kochis shaved off four strokes in the second round, carding four birdies. This marked the second time Kochis has earned the honor this season.
 
Hoffman was just behind Kochis, tying for fifth with a one-over 145. Similar to Kochis, Hoffman shot a 74 in the first round before dropping to a one-under 71 in the second. For Hoffman, this marked his fourth overall award from the conference this year.
 
The Gators are back in action Sunday (April 12-13) when they compete at Wooster's Nye Invitational.
