MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Allegheny College men's golf and men's lacrosse combined to place six student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-District At-Large Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and the classroom. The men's at-large category includes student-athletes from the following sports: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Lacrosse athletes must have played in at least 90% or started in 66% of the team's competitions throughout the season. Golf nominees must have competed in 75% of the team's scored varsity events or be in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
Connor Bell (Montrose, Colo./Montrose) and
Gasparo Porco (Butler, Pa./Knoch) both represented the men's golf program, while
Griffin Cates (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey),
Tomi Horsley (Salt Lake City, Utah/Brighton),
Liam Kruck (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin), and
Jared Swisher (Cumberland, Maine/Berwick Academy) were chosen from the men's lacrosse team.Â
Bell and Swisher were both honored for the second time in as many years.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The Academic All-America Men's At-Large first, second, and third teams will be announced on July 8.
