HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- The Allegheny College men's golf team concluded its postseason run with a 33rd-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships at the Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
Thunderstorms around the Central Florida region forced tournament organizers to suspend the opening round on Tuesday, most of the Gators had to play upwards of 30 holes on Wednesday to complete the first two rounds. Allegheny returned to the course at 7:30 a.m. to play the remainder of the El Campeon course, then immediately headed to the 10th hole on Las Colinas for the second round of 18.
Allegheny ended the first round with a cumulative 309 (+21), before firing a 307 (+23) on the par-71 Las Colinas course. With a two-day total of 616 (+44), the Gators missed the cut to move onto the championship rounds on Thursday and Friday. The top 18 teams and six individuals from non-advancing teams will move onto the final 36 holes to determine this year's national championship.
