MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's track and field and cross country teams had four student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
 
Grant Miller (Punxsutawney, Pa./Punxsutawney Area), Cole Jooste (Upper Saint Clair, Pa./Upper Saint Clair), Austin Stewart (Pittsburgh, Pa./Serra Catholic) and Jonah Wells (Wyndmoor, Pa./Springfield Township) were honored by the organization.
 
For Wells, this marks his second straight year earning the honor.
 
The award requires a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 as at least a sophomore. For Cross Country, individuals must have had a top-50 performance at the NCAA Regionals. For track & field, individuals are required to have a top-50 individual ranking in a single event.
 
Academic All-District winners advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in July.
