NFHCA National Academic Squad Release
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – The Allegheny field hockey team brought home several academic awards through the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for their performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 school year.
A pair of Gators earned Scholars of Distinction honors. This honor is given to student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester.
Samantha Mura (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) and
Caroline Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./Liberty) earned the honor
Eleven members of the team earned a spot on the National Academic Squad. This honor is given to student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester.

Taylor Fordyce (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield),
Emily Robles (Burlington Township, N.J./Burlington Township),
Mallory Furgal (Middleburg, Va./Highland School),
Cora Miranda (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville East),
Maddy Keenan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Trafford),
Emily Jackson (Oreland, Pa./Springfield Township), Mura,
Rowan O'Toole (Glen Burnie, Md./Archbishop Spalding), Smith and
Abby Robords (Fairport, N.Y./Penfield) garnered the accolade.
