TRAFFORD, Pa. -- Two members of the Allegheny College women's lacrosse team earned weekly accolades from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) for the final week of the 2025 regular season.

Lauren Petrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) was named the PAC Midfielder of the Week, and Amelia Henderson (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Petrarca received her second PAC award of the season after leading the Gators to a 2-0 week with a 22-1 win against Geneva College and a 23-10 win over Bethany College. In two games, the fourth-year midfielder produced 16 points (12g-4a) with nine ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and 29 draw controls. In the rout of the Golden Tornadoes, Petrarca had five points (3g-2a) with 11 draws, five ground balls, and three caused turnovers. She then led the Gators to victory against the Bison by tying the program record for goals with nine to go with a career-high 18 draw controls. Petrarca's ninth goal against Bethany marked the 200th of her career, as the senior midfielder became only the third Gator in team history to reach that mark.

Henderson has continued to shine on defense for the Blue and Gold. The third-year standout collected 10 ground balls, caused four turnovers and scored twice. Both goals came in the lopsided victory over Geneva. At the same time, she anchored a defense that allowed just one goal while causing two turnovers and picking up four ground balls. Henderson also had two caused turnovers with six ground balls during Saturday's showdown with the Bison, who were limited to only two second-half goals by the Gator defense.

Petrarca, Henderson, and the rest of the Gators will head to Pittsburgh on Tuesday, April 29, for a 7:00 p.m. matchup against Chatham University in the quarterfinal round of the PAC Championship Tournament.
