Day Three Results
GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny women's swimming and diving team continued competition at the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Friday (Feb. 21) in Grove City.
After three days of competition, the Gators currently sit in fifth place with 252 points.
Josephine Reiter (Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA) had the top overall finish for the Gators, placing third in the 100 breaststroke.
Olivia Johnson (Trafford, Pa./Penn-Trafford) started the night for Allegheny racing in the consolation finals of the 400 individual medley. She placed 14th with a time of 5:17.38.
The Gators then had two representatives in the 100 butterfly.
Anna Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) earned a spot in the championship finals. Clocking in at 1:03.26, she finished in seventh place.
Magnolia Myers (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Our Lady of the Elms) swam in the consolation finals, placing 11th with a time of 1:08.82.
Grace Wilson (Erie, Pa./Fort LeBouef) competed in the consolation finals of the 200 freestyle. She earned a 14th place finish with a time of 2:09.85.
The Gators were well represented in the 100 breaststroke. Reiter and
Kerrigan Swartz (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area) were in the championship finals while
Emily Arendas (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and
Leah Frase (Madison, Ohio/Madison) were in the consolation finals. Reiter led the team with a third place finish, touching the walls at 1:09.04. Swartz finished seventh with a time of 1:13.33. Arendas won the consolation heat with a time of 1:13.26 while Frase finished 16th with a time of 1:20.59.
In the final individual race of the night,
Katya Pryshchenko (Berwyn, Pa./Aim Academy) competed in the consolation finals of the 100 backstroke. She won the heat with a time of 1:04.29 to take ninth overall.
Night three ended with the 200 freestyle relay. The squad of Pryshchenko, Kohler, Swartz and Arendas finished fourth with a time of 1:44.58. The Gators also raced the team of Myers, Wilson,
Miranda Fanning (TIffin, Ohio/Columbian) and Frase placed 11th with a time of 1:51.58.
