CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Allegheny College men's indoor track and field team competed in Case Western Reserve University's Ed Finnigan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invite inside the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center on Friday night.
Allegheny sent a dozen athletes to participate in the last regular-season tune-up before next week's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championships.
Senior
Aaron Moon (Springfield, Va./Lake Braddock) ran the 200-meter dash for the first time this season. He led a group of five Gators in the race with a seventh-place finish at 23.36 seconds. He also put together another strong performance in the long jump as the runner-up with a mark of 6.92 meters.
In only his second collegiate meet, first-year sprinter

Of the three Gators to run the mile, senior
Desmond Corrado (Crafton, Pa./Carlynton) was the first to the finish line. In his first one-mile race since his freshman season, Corrado was clocked at 4:38.49 and placed fifth out of 12 competitors.Â
