Day Two Results
Grove City, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming and diving team carded strong finishes on day two of the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Thursday evening (Feb. 20) in Grove City.
The evening started with
Sam Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) competing in the championship finals of the 500 freestyle. Kohler finished the race in 5:0.76, placing seventh.
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) also qualified for a championship final. Racing in the 200 individual medley, Fluharty finished in 2:00.01 to take eighth.
The individual races for the evening concluded with
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) competing in the championship finals of the 50 freestyle. Malnar placed eighth with a time of 22.15.
The evening session concluded with the 400 medley relay. The team of
Miguel Orti Vila (Málaga, Spain/Cheam), Fluharty, Kohler and Malnar placed fifth with a time of 3:51.24.
