GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming team competed on night three of the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Swimming and Diving Championships, carding several strong individual finishes, Friday (Feb. 20) at Grove City.
The Gators earned spots in the individual finals of the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke.
Sam Kohler (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) earned a spot in the A Finals of the 100 butterfly. Kohler finished the heat in seventh, touching the wall at 53.46.
Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview),
Ryan Owen (Weirton, W. Va./Weir) and
Oscar Zúñiga (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Instituto Potosino Marista) all qualified for the B Finals of the 100 breaststroke. Habusta had the best finish of the trio, placing 12th with a time of 1:04.53. Owen was just behind Habusta in 13th with a time of 1:08.6. Zúñiga rounded out the group in 16th with a time of 1:17.39.
The evening ended with the 200 freestyle relay. The Gator quad finished the relay in seventh with a time of 1:37.61.
