GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming team continued competing at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships Thursday (Feb. 19), hosted by Grove City.
On day two, the Gators earned spots in the finals of the 500 freestyle and the 400 medley relay.
Sam Kohler (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) qualified for the B Finals of the 500 freestyle. The sophomore finished third in the heat, finishing in a career best time of 4:57.33, earning an 11th place overall finish.
The evening concluded with the 400 medley relay.
Ryan Owen (Weirton, W. Va./Weir),
Oscar Zúñiga (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Instituto Potosino Marista), Kohler and
Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview) finished in sixth with a time of 4:08.46.
After two days of events, the Gators sit in seventh place with 56 points.
