MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Allegheny men's swimming team concluded the 2025 portion of their schedule at home against Penn State Behrend Saturday (Dec. 6).
 
The Lions won the meet 129-70.
 
Sam Kohler (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth) had a pair of first-place finishes for the Gators. He won the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.60 and the 50 butterfly with a time of 25.52. He also placed third in the 200 freestyle.
 
Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview) was first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.78 while taking third in the 50 butterfly and breaststroke events.
 
Oscar Zúñiga (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Instituto Potosino Marista) scored first place points in the 100 individual medley with a time of 1:17.36. Additionally, he was third in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 50 breaststroke.
 
Ryan Owen (Weirton, W. Va./Weir) was second in the 100 freestyle and 50 butterfly and fourth in the 100 butterfly.
 
The Gator quartet also earned first-place points in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:42.28.
