ASHLAND, Ohio – The Allegheny men's swimming team fell to Division II Ashland Saturday (Jan. 25) in their final dual meet of the season.
 
The Eagles picked up the win 192-28.
 
Jack Malnar (Brecksville, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) had a pair of runner-up finishes. He was second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.94 as well as the 100 freestyle with a time of 22.94.
 
Sam Kohler (Sewickley, Pa./Avonworth) was third in the 50 freestyle at 23.60 as well as the 100 butterfly at 58.32.
 
Emmet Fluharty (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) was third in the 200 individual medley, clocking in at 2:10.27.
 
The 200 freestyle relay team of Fluharty, Miguel Orti Vila (Málaga, Spain/Cheam), Kohler and Malnar was third at a time of 1:34.70. The 200 medley relay team of Fluharty, Christian Habusta (Erie, Pa./Fairview), Kohler and Malnar also placed third at 1:46.65.
