TRAFFORD, Pa. – Carter Hassenplug (North East, Pa./North East) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) men's golf Player of the Week for his performance at Denison's Ted Barclay Invitational.
 
Hassenplug finished the event as the runner-up after recording a two-under 140 for the event. It marks his fifth time earning the honor in his career.
 
In each round, Hassenplug shot identical one-under 70 scores. The highlight of the weekend came on the second day when Hassenplug eagled the par-five 10th.
 
The Gators are back in action Sept. 15-16 at The Gauntlet, held at the Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
