Full PAC Release

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Zachary Melzar (Sterling, Mass./Wachusett Regional) of the men's golf team earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Player of the Week accolades for his performance at The Gauntlet this past weekend.
 
In a packed field that featured five teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships, and 75 total golfers, Melzar finished in a tie for ninth-place.
 
The senior opened competition with a one-under 69 in the opening round, carding three birdies and 13 pars. In the final round, Melzar shot a 73 to finish with a 36-hole score of 142.
 
The Gators will host the annual Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational at the Meadville Country Club Sunday and Monday (Sept. 22-23).
