PAC Release
TRAFFORD, Pa. -- Following a near record-setting performance against Fredonia State on Saturday,
Emma Miller (Elyria, Ohio/Lake Ridge Academy) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Offensive Player of the Week.
Miller led the Gators to a 5-3 road victory over the Blue Devils with a remarkable outing. She either scored or assisted on every goal, resulting in a career-high nine points with four goals and one assist.Â
Not only did Miller finish only one point and one goal shy of the team single-game records, but she also joined a prestigious group of Gators. Her nine points are tied for the second-most in a game in team history, equaling Allegheny Hall of Famer Denise Petrossi Saldaña '90, who logged nine points against Oberlin College on October 15, 1986. Miller also tied Hall of Famers Nellie Springer Kraus '89 and Georganne Morin '89 with the second-most goals in a game.
In only six games this fall, Miller leads all Allegheny scorers with 16 points on seven goals and two assists.
Allegheny returns to the Robertson Athletic Complex on Tuesday, September 17, for a 7:00 p.m. contest against Hiram College.
