IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Release | Academic Honor Squad Release
 
NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. -- The Allegheny College women's lacrosse program received numerous academic awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for their performances in the classroom during the 2024 season.
 
Individually, six Gators were named to the 2024 Division III Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or greater. Honored were Ashley Amato (Westerly, R.I./Westerly), Ema Caragein (Pittsburgh, Pa./Seton LaSalle),  Sybi Gerhart (Denver, Pa./Cocalico), Emily Herrold (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley), Lauren Petrarca (Simi Valley, Calif./Royal) and Sarah Thorman (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial).
 
As a team, Allegheny was one of 152 Division III programs to earn the distinction as an Academic Honor Squad, which requires a team GPA of 3.2 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year.
