RICHMOND, Va. – The Allegheny swimming and diving teams earned academic honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for their performances in the classroom during the 2023-24 season.
The men's and women's team each received Scholar All-America Team honors. To receive the honor, the teams need to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The men had a team GPA of 3.88 while the women had a GPA of 3.65.
Individually, recent grad
Olivia Kraus (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) was named to the Scholar All-America Second Team. To earn this honor, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher while also achieving a NCAA B Cut in an event.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA, is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
